Given the formula y=2x (z+3), find y if z=2 and x=4

    Y=2•4 (2+3)

    y = 8 (5)

    Y = 40

    The answer is y=40 becuase when you substitute z and x in you get the equation y=2 (4) (2+3) which is equal to y=8 (5) which is equal to y=40
