If a box has an area of 196 in.² what is the area of largest possible circle that can be placed into the box

    Take the square root of 196 to get that each side is 14 inches long, that would also be your diameter for the largest circle. To find the area you use the equation pi (r^2) or 3.14 x (14/2) x (14/2) or 3.14x7^2. This should get you the answer 153.9 in^2.
