Roberto measured his garden to be 10 feet by 12 1/2 feet. He plants vegetables in one-half of the garden. What is the area of his vegetable garden?

    Well first you need to find the total area of the garden.

    10x12.5=125 feet.

    Now your need to find half of that.

    125/2 = 62.5

    Where-as,

    Roberto's vegatable garden is 62.5 in area
