A fish swims at a speed of 12 mph a boy swims at a speed of 4.4 ft./s how much faster does the fish swim then the boy and yards per minute

    1 yard = 3 feet

    Fish speed in yards per minute:

    (12 * 1760) / (60)

    = 352 yards per minute

    Boy speed in yards per minute:

    (4.4 / 3) * 60

    = 88 yards per minute

    The fish is:

    352 - 88

    = 264 yards per minute faster than the boy
