    F (x) = - 1/2 (x+2) ^2+5

    x=-3

    f (-3) = - 1/2 ((-3) + 2) ^2+5

    =-1/2 (-1) ^2+5

    =-1/2 (1) + 5

    =-1/2+5

    =9/2

    f (3) = 9/2

    x=1

    f (1) = - 1/2 (1+2) ^2+5

    =-1/2 (3) ^2+5

    =-1/2 (9) + 5

    =-9/2+5

    =1/2

    f (1) = 1/2
