What number is a factor of 12, but not a multiple of 3

    There are 3 numbers as such.

    First lets list all the factors of 12

    1,2,3,4,6,12

    now lets see which are multiples of 3

    3,6 and 12 are multiples of 3

    therefore we are left with

    1,2 and 4
