How do i calculate? Paul scored a total of 1340 on his SAT test. His math score was 400 less than twice his verbal score. What was his math score and verbal score?

    If you’re counting on this number to get you into an Ivy League school or the equivalent, you’d better have a GPA of around 4.0 to go with it, plus all the other essentials. It takes 10 things to be admitted to an elite college:

    Excellent grades. Excellent SAT or ACT scores. Excellent SAT two or AP scores. Recommendations saying that you are wonderful in every way. Accomplishments worthy of national level rewards. Activities that show that you are a dedicated contributor to your community. Superior writing skills. An extraordinarily interesting story to tell. Something that makes the admissions officer believe that you would be a fun student to have. Something that makes the admissions officer believed that their school is the right school for you.
