Georgia has $38 to spend at the movie theater. She goes with two friends. They all got one piece of candy. If each ticket cost $10 and each piece of candy cost $3.50, do they have enough money?

    No they do not the total would be30+10.50

    3 x 10 = 30

    The tickets cost $30

    3 x 3.5 = 10.5

    The candy cost $10.5

    30 + 10.5 = $40.5

    They do not have enough money because it would cost them $40.50 and they only have $38.
