First we need to calculate the volume which is Base*depth or length*width*depth

first we have to change all the units so they are the same, 3 inches in this case will equal 1/4feet

    multiply all the numbers together

    35ft*12ft*1/4foot = 105 cubic feet

however the problem says the cost per cubic * yards*

so take the 105 cubic feet and divide by 3 (3 feet to a yard)

    105/3 = 35 cubic yards

the cost of 35 cubic yards of concrete =

    35*125 = $4375
