Isaac has spent $20 to set up cable service and the monthly fee is $54.95. Write an equation to represent the total amount it costs, C (t) to have cable service if t stands for the number of months the service has been used.

    C (t) = 54.95 (t) + 20. 20 dollars is your fixed rate. It will never change. The rest of the function is 54.95 dollars a month multiplied by t months depending on how long he uses cable.
