Erica bought 3 1/2 yards of fabric. If she uses 2/3 of the fabric to make a curtain, how much will she have left?

    We are given with an original length of the fabric measuring 3 1/2 yards and the problem says that 2/3 is used. Hence we find the 1/3 of the original length of fabric which is the unused part of the fabric (1 - 2/3). In this case, the answer is 1 1/6 yards
