    4w - 10 can be factored to: 2 (2x - 5).

The dimensions of the rectangle (length and width) are 2 units and 2x - 5 units.

The perimeter of the rectangle is 2L + 2W so,

    2 (2) + 2 (2x - 5) = 4 + 4x - 10 = 4x - 6 units.
