Which numbers belong to the solution set of the inequality x/8 <-10

X/8 < - 10 ... multiply by 8

x < - 10 (8)

x < - 80

so all numbers less then - 80 are solutions ... notice that I said less then ... so - 80 does not count ... it would be - 81,-82,-83, ... and so on. Dont forget ... with negative numbers ... the larger the number, the smaller it is.
