    The geometric mean by definition is:

    m = (a*b*c) ^ (1/n)

    Mathematically it is the nth root of the product of the elements in a set where n is the number of multiplicands ...

    For example, the geometric mean of 1 and 100 is:

    (1*100) ^ (1/2) = 10

    of 3, 9, and 27 is (3*9*27) ^ (1/3) = 9 etc., etc
