normal peanuts: 5

normal granola bars: 5

probability of getting a reduced sodium peanut bag: 7/12

probability of getting a reduced sodium granola bar: 3/8

multiply the probabilities because they're separate events:

7/12 * 3/8=

(7*3) / (12*8) =

21/96=
