N this case we have to have a common denominator in order to compare to the two fractions.

    We know that 2 * 6 = 12

So multiply the numerator and denominator by 6

    *

Therefore, the amount of honey needed is teaspoons

So in total 6 bees are needed to make teaspoons of honey because we know that is the same as half

    1/2 / 1/12 = 6 honeybees
