Find the surface area of the 4 walls by doing

    2 (8.5x3.4) + 2 (6.5x3.4)

Then subtract the area of the 2 doors, which is 4

So the total painted surface will come out to be 98m

Multiply 98 by the cost, £160 to get a total cost of £15680 to paint the room
