What is the product of polynomials (2a - 7 + a2) and (5 - a) ?

    2a-7+a2 (5-a)

    multiply 5 to all terms 2a,-7, a2

    And - a to 2a,-7, a2

    2a (5) - 7 (5) + a2 (5) + 2a (-a) - 7 (-a) + a2 (-a)

    simplify

    10a-35+5a2-2a2+7a-a3

    rearrange and simplify

    -a3+5a2-2a2+10a+7a-35

    -a3+3a2+17a-35
