In a race the mean time for three runners is 12.4 seconds and the mean time for another six runners was 11.5 seconds. Calculate the mean time for all nine runners.

    I think the answer would be 23.9 because if you 12.4 with 11.5 you would get 23.9.

    The answer would be 23.9 seconds because you add the mean time of the 3 runners and the 6 other runners and get this answer
