    An integral number is just a whole number. Consecutive means they are neighbouring in the number line (e. g. 2,3,4). Let the smallest number be x:

    x + (x+1) + (x+2) = 3x + 3 = 117

    3x = 114

    x = 38

    Hence the numbers are 38, 39, 40
