    Volume of the first - (15) (8) (8) = 960cm cubed

    Volume of the second - (20) (8) (8) = 1280

    Difference=320

    320 cm cubed were needed to make the taller candle

    256 cm more, because 8•8 or length • width = 64•4 or how much more layers cm you need to add on is 256 to make it 5 cm taller in height.
