Rectangle a has area 40 cm square and length 8 cm. the area of rectangle b is one half the area of rectangle

a. the rectangles have the same length. what is the width of rectangle b?

    Area of rectangle b=1/2 area of rectangle a=40/2=20 cm²

    Length=8 cm

    Width of rectangle b=20/8 = 2.5 cm
