You and your friend volunteer for 120 hours. The ratio of hours you volunteered to hours your friend volunteered is 6 to 4. Use the tape diagram to find how many hours you volunteered.

    6:4 = 10 parts

    120/10 parts = 10 per part.

    6:4 = 60:40

    you = 60 hours

    friend = 40 hours

    Answer - 60 hours
