Mary jo decided to solve the equation 3x-2=-x-6 by entering each of the exppressions into her graphing calculator. to solve the equation as a system, she entered y=3x-2 and y = - x-6. when she used the calculator to find the intersection, she found x=-1 and y=-5. is she right? if so show how she is correct

    3x-2=-x-6

    3x+x=2-6

    4x=-4

    x=-4/4=-1

    y=3 * (-1) - 2=-3-2=-5

    y = - (-1) - 6=1-6=-5

    She is right.
