A store buys a jacket for $20.00 and sells if to a costemer for 80% more then that. what is the selling price of the jacket

    So you work out 80% of 20 which is 16

    and you add that to £20 which is £36

    10% of 20 is 2. So multiply 2 x 8, which is 16. Then, take 20 and add 16 to it. That gives you 36, which is your answer.
