How do i write and evaluate expressions involving whole number exponents?

    The way you write whole number exponents is writing the exponent little and in the top right corner. On the computer, however, you would use ^ like for example 5 to the 6th power, it would be 5^6 but that's on the computer. The way you solve exponents is multiplying your original number by itself the certain amount of times that the exponent number indicates. For example, 2^5. That would mean 2•2•2•2•2=32 think of exponents as a way to write repeated multiplication easier.
