Each paper clip is 2/3 of an inch long and costs $0.30. Exactly enough paper clips are laid end to end to have a total length of 24 inches. What is the total cost of these paper clips?

    You are dividing 36 inches into 3/4 inch sections for each paper clip. Thus, 36/.75 = 48 paper clips * $0.02 = $0.96
