    Subsitut 2x+4 for y

    x-2 (2x+4) = - 2

    x-4x-8=-2

    -3x-8=-2

    add 8 to both sides

    -3x=6

    divide by - 3

    x=-2

    sub back

    y=2x+4

    y=2 (-2) + 4

    y=-4+4

    y=0

    x=-2

    y=0

    (x, y)

    (-2,0)
