Using an example such as the distance from the Sun to the Earth (93 million miles) serves as a good example of scientific notation (9.3 x 10^7 - - the first number must be between 1.0 and 9.9) and how it differs from engineering notation (93 x 10^6 - - engineers group in thousands, millions and billions).

9.3 x 10^7 is the answer I believe.
