    Cylinder Surface Area = (2 • π • r²) + (2 • π • r • height)

    It doesn't have "ends" so

    Cylinder Surface Area = (2 • π • r • height)

    24 meter height and radius = 3.4

    Cylinder Surface Area = (2 • π • 3.4 • 24)

    Cylinder Surface Area = 512.71

    Cans of paint needed = 512.71 / 50

Cans of paint needed = 10.2542

So, you'd need 11 cans of paint
