    A) x + y = - 7

    B) x * y = 3

    y = 3/x then put this into equation A

    x + 3/x = - 7

    x^2 + 3 = - 7x

    x^2 + 7x + 3 = 0

    x = - 6.5414 and x = - 0.45862
