    3 (x^2 + 6x + 5) = 0

    3 (x^2 + 6x + 9 + 5 - 9) = 0

    3 (x + 3) ^2 + 3 (-4) = 0

    3 (x + 3) ^2 - 12 = 0

    3 (x + 3) ^2 = 12

    (x + 3) ^2 = 4

    x + 3 = sqrt (4)

    x = - 3 + or - 2

    x = - 3 + 2 or - 3 - 2

    x = - 1 or - 5

    The correct answer option is option c.
