What is the new ordered pair if (3,-2) is reflected across the x axis?

    Reflecting coordinates over the 'x-axis' requires you to take the coordinate given and simply changing the signs.

    Reflecting over the 'x-axis' will change the numbers like this: (x, - y). This basically means that your given 'x' will stay the same whilst you change the '-2' to a '2'.

    Your answer should be: (3, 2)

    Since it is reflected across the x-axis, the x value will stay the same. The y-value, however will change to the opposite quadrant, so if it was positive it will become negative.
