    let t be the distance for the second car to catch the first car where thefirst car is 55 km ahead

    distance = speed * time

    63t = 55t + 55

    63t - 55t = 55

    8t = 55

    t = 55/8

    t = 6.88 hrs or 6 hrs 53min
