Aiden and his sister saved 360 quarters altogether. Aiden saved twice as many quarters as his sister. If Aiden plans to put his quarters into 3 equal piles how many quarters will he put in each pile?

    Aiden and his sister have 360 quarters together. If Aiden has twice as much as his sister, he has 180 quarters.

    360/2 = 180

    Aiden divides his quarters into 3 equal piles.

    180/3 = 60

    Aiden has 60 quarters in each of his 3 piles.
