    The scale presented is that 3 inches = 6 yards.

    In the drawing, the distance of

    Swing to Track = 15 inches

    Track to Basketball Court = 6 inches

    The actual distance of swing to track is

    = 15 in / 3 in * 6 yards

    = 30 yards.

    The actual distance of Track to basketball court is

    = 6 in / 3 in * 6 yards

    = 12 yards.

    Difference = 30 yards - 12 yards

    Difference = 18 yards

    The track to swing is 18 yards further than track to basketball court.
