A television program asks it's viewers to visit a website to indicate their preferences for two presidential candidates. 76% of the viewers who responded preferred candidate A, so the television program announced that most people prefer candidate A. Is this biased or unbiased?

    This study is biased. This is because the people who responded did so voluntarily. Voluntary surveys are not always accurate. Also, the people who responded were only people who watched a specific TV program. This does not accurately represent the total population of likely voters.
