What is the area of an equilateral triangle with sides of length 6

    The answer would be 18 because the formula for the area of a triangle is 1/2times base times height. So first you cut half of the base or the height then you times the base and height together.

    ie base = 6 height=6

    1.) cut half of either so you get 3

    2.) then times them both 3 times 6 is 18
