Nate's quiche is cut into 7 equal parts. only 3/7 is left. he wants to give 3 of his friends equal part. write 3/7 as the sum of unit fractions.

    The problem is to write 3/7 as the sum of equal parts, that is a sum of fractions:

    1/7 + 1/7 + 1/7 = 3/7

    note that we are only adding the numerator, the upper part.
