3/8 + 1/4=? and what would that be in simplest form?

    3/8 + 1/4 = 3/8 + 2/8 = 5/8

    In it's simplest form, 3/8 + 1/4 would be 5/8.

    You need to make 1/4 have the common denominator of 8. So you multiply 1/4 by 2, to get 2/8. Then you just add. 3/8 + 2/8 = 5/8.
