44 Alison paid $21.75 for a number of packets of rice crackers. Three packets of rice crackers cost $1.45. How many packets of rice crackers did Alison buy?

If she were to buy 60 packets of the same rice crackers, would $30 be enough to pay for them? (Chapter 3)

    1.45 / 3 = 0.48 for 1 pack of crackers.

    21.75 / 0.48 = 45.31 ... so she bought 45 total packs <===

    60 x 0.48 = 28.80 ... so yes, $ 30 would be enough <==
