You are forecasting sales across Retail products for 2005 and want to compare those numbers to 2004. If your sales for 2005 are increased by 5% across all products from the previous year, what are the total sales for 2005?

    Whatever the sales were is 2004, take that number and multiply it by 0.05. Then add your product to the sales from 2004. This is going to be your 2005 sales.
