    -16x^3+4x=0

    -4x (4x^2 - 1) = 0

    -4x (2x+1) (2x - 1) = 0 (factor using a^2 - b^2 = (a+b) (a-b))

    -4x = 0; x = 0

    2x + 1 = 0; x = - 1/2

    2x - 1 = 0; x = 1/2

    answer: x = 0, x = 1/2 and x = - 1/2
