    The answer is A. True

    P (x) = x²-4, is divisible by x-2, P (x) = x²-4 / x-2 = x+2, so P (x) = (x-2) (x+2) + 0

    P (2) = 4-4=0

    P (x) = (x-2) (x+2) + P (2)
