A particular car gets fuel mileage of 48 mpg in the city and 12% more on the highway. What is the cars fuel mileage on the highway?

    I believe your answer would be 56.2mpg more on the highway.

    If you times 48 by 12 percent then you get 5.76 which you then add onto 48 to get 53.76 mpg on the highway.
