    Purchased for 1.60

    marked up by 60% ... 1.60 +.60 (1.60) = 2.56

    marked down by 20% ... 2.56 -.20 (2.56) = 2.048 ... rounds to 2.05

    buy 3 boxes of spaghetti 3 (2.05) = 6.15

    8% sales tax ... 6.15 +.08 (6.15) = 6.642 ... rounds to $ 6.64
