It is D - a trapezoid. All rectangles, and squares have 2 pairs of parallel sides. Not all quadrilaterals have parallel sides, but squares and rectangles are quadrilaterals and do have 2 pairs of parallel sides. Trapezoids on the other hand have 1 pair of parallel sides, which include both of its bases.
