Rational numbers can be written fully in the form a/b where b is not equal zero

    so examples of rational numbers

    2/1, 2/3

pi is not since pi represents the full one and is not written fully

    √32=√16 times √2=4 times √2

since √2 is irrational, the whole number is irratnioal

the answer is it is not a rational number
