The table shows the number if votes for the new school mascot. What percent of the students chose a mascot other than Tigers?

    The total votes are 50. If you are finding out the percentage of students that did not choose the Tigers, you would subtract the Tigers votes from the total. 50-14 = 36. 36/50 would equal. 72, turn that into a percent and you have 72% of students not voting for Tigers.
