Explain why a change from 20 to 40 is a 100 percent increase, but a change from 40 to 20 is a 50 percent decrease

    You are multiplying all of 20 which is 100% and your dividing only half of 40 which is 50%

    40 = 2 times 20

    20 = 40/2
